Seneca truly seems to love Hope for Horses; she has been with us for many years now. We still can’t understand why she hasn’t found her forever home. Her previous owner was a devoted long‑term Hope for Horses volunteer who passed unexpectedly — her deepest wish was for Seneca to find a permanent, loving home of her own. Seneca is a lively 27‑year‑old mare with Cushing’s disease that is easily managed with medication. This beautiful Arabian gets along wonderfully with any herd she joins. She has delightfully opinionated ears — and if my ears could pin, I’d probably do it just as often! She’s truly a good girl who would cherish having her very own human and to live in a settled herd of non‑revolving companions. Could you give this sweet older mare the gentle, loving soft landing she so deserves?
