Meet Gunner! Oh my goodness, look at this handsome fellow! Gunner is a 15.2 hand, 20 year old, Palomino, TN Walking horse would and he’d love to be your next forever four legged friend! He is sound, healthy and an easy keeper! Please read what his owner has to say about him. “Gunner was a field trial champion in his 'past life'. Accordingly, we got him as a 'husband' horse and a companion to our other gelding. He was ridden infrequently and originally, but has largely been a pasture ornament since then...albeit a very handsome and friendly one. Gunner is super curious and nuzzles right up to chickens, our cat, and even the wild deer that recently adopted him as guardian! He also completely transforms his look in summer vs. winter. His coat darkens SIGNIFICANTLY in summer and he's striking. He's a bit of a 'pigpen' in the winter, lol! We have made the terribly difficult decision to move off of our farm to get into the city to be closer to my kids' school, my work, etc. I will board him elsewhere before I let him go to a home that isn't a good one. I'd give anything to see him go with his "brother" 'Pete' who he's been inseparable with for 14 years. Able to do light/medium riding with an Intermediate rider. Had some white line in one hoof, but farrier handled it well. He's a VERY easy keeper. Plump on limited fresh pasture and happy on hay.”
