Your Donation Provides Real Hope for The Horses

The cost of care for one horse per month averages $250. At any given time HFH cares for 20 or more horses daily.

Many of our horses have Special Needs which drive that daily care cost up. To continue providing the quality care these horses deserve, we depend on the donations from caring people like you, our generous volunteers and our dedicated staff.

There are several ways to donate to Hope for Horses which we have listed below. Remember, your donation is tax deductable and you can rest assured it will go directly to helping these horses.

How To Donate

• Direct Donation can either be a monetary donation or a donation of a needed item such as tack, feed, supplies, etc.
  
• Sponsorship allows you to choose a particular horse and also choose the level of sponsorship that meets your needs. This level allows for scheduled visits to your sponsored horse along with personal updates.
• Feed and Hay can be donated directly or through our partner Valley Agri Supply in Mills River, NC. Simply call to place an order (828) 891-8005 or donate money into our account.
• Special Needs donations help with those extra expenses whether it be special shoeing for one horse or expensive supplements for another.
• Vet Care is an ongoing expense. Regular shots and visits aside, new horses often need extensive care while they are nursed back to health. Some may need X-Rays and others expensive treatments.
• Partner Purchase is an easy way to help the horses! When you shop at Horse.com a percentage of the purchase goes directly to Hope for Horses.
• Products with the Hope for Horses logo are available to purchase at the farm and all proceeds benefit the horses. You'll find everything from hats to bumper stickers to let everyone know you care!
• Other Needs There are many items aside from feed that are frequently used on the farm and we could always use more of. Check out our list and remember your donations are tax deductable!
